This is my first post ever, I’ve never blogged, I’ve read a ton of blogs, and maybe left a comment or two, but never have I started a blog and written a post. So I am very excited!
Let me provide a little history of myself, I’m a 30 something mother of 2, graduated from the university of colorado, and currently live in Boulder. I’m a stay at home mom of two beautiful children, a boy (oldest 3) and a girl (2). They are very close in age and play really well together, but they have a ton of energy and I find myself worn out by the time they are down for the night.
Since they were born I’ve found myself in the doldrums of exercise, some weeks when I have energy I would go for a run, other weeks I’d find myself too tired to workout. I do get out a lot with the kids, to the playground, and small hikes, so I’m not a couch potato. 3 months ago I decided I would start working out in the mornings before the kids get up, which lately has been the crazy time of 5am! But, I get to start my day right, and then the rest of the day I know I got my workout in.
I’m not really sure how I’ll structure these posts, but I feel I will at least share the workouts in terms of what is working for me, and maybe document new recipes I’ve found that are healthy and give me energy.
